Monday is here and it brings a new set of GT7 Daily Races. This week's trio will take racers to two events in Italy before jetting off to Japan.
With Update 1.40 behind us and the new year approaching, the future for Gran Turismo 7 is looking strong, especially as there are new weekly challenges for off-line players too.
So what will Sport Mode racers be up to this week? Let's take a look!
Race A
Sardegna Road Track - B - 6 laps
We start this week with a six-lap battle around the B course of Sardegna in the McLaren 650S '14. This race features a grid start with a 12-car field. Everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Every driver will use a low-speed BoP, with no further tuning allowed. This is a half-ranked race, meaning that SR will be affected by your driving in this race, but DR will not.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Race B
Lago Maggiore - Full Course - 4 laps
The first fully ranked race of the weekend takes us to Lago Maggiore for four laps of the full course in Gr.4 cars.
The 16-car field will use Racing Hard tyres and use a rolling start. That means you will be MILES behind the lead car if you don't put a qualifying lap in so make sure you do at least a few qually laps!
There is also 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for this race so you don't need to worry about them.
Everyone will use a mid-speed BoP, with partial suspension changes and brake balance adjustments allowed. Both DR and SR are impacted by your performance in this race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Race C
Fuji - 11 laps
The final race is a tyre-wear battle of 11 laps around Fuji International Speedway in Gr.3 cars.
The 16-car field will be on the Racing Medium tyre with 1x fuel consumption and 5x tyre wear. There is a mandatory pitstop in this race so you can use your tyres, but abuse them and the medium rubber will die away quickly.
Everyone will use a mid-speed BoP, with partial suspension changes and brake balance adjustments allowed. Both DR and SR are impacted by your performance in this race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions. There is also a penalty for pit lane line cutting so be sure you stay on the correct side when making your stop.
