After a week of Forza Motorsport stealing headlines, Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.17 was teased by Kazunori Yamauchi over the weekend.
We know that three new cars are on their way, along with the usual slew of bug fixes, but what else could be in the next GT7 update?
Latest news - Watkins Glen arriving!
The trailer for the next update on Gran Turismo 7 has arrived, and along with confirming the three cars that we will get, Polyphony has also confirmed the introduction of Watkins Glen to GT7!
This is the first new track added to GT7 since release and is a huge breath of fresh air for the game.
Update 1.17 release date
The release date has now been confirmed, we can expect Update 1.17 to arrive on Thursday 23 June.
Polyphony usually push their updates out in the mornings, so be ready to race around the new circuit right away!
Three new cars
As usual, Kaz's tweet teased a trio of new cars joining Gran Turismo 7.
From the silhouette we know that one of them is the epic Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak.
The other two have now been confirmed.
They are the Gr.3 version of the new Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo and the 1932 Ford Roadster!
Updated events
There are likely to be plenty of new events added to the current rotation for players.
Hopefully this will include high-payout races that can replace the usual Le Mans and Spa grinds.
Our current list of the best credit grind races has all the info on how to get the most currency for your time in GT7 and hasn't altered in a while.
We are also waiting on the ability to sell cars. Something that was described as "near-term" back in March, so Polyphony is running out of time to deliver on that promise.
