Without any warning GT7 is offline as Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.09 is on the way.
There are a few fixes Polyphony is making to the game. Let's see what they are doing!
Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.09 Patch Notes
Here are the patch notes in full:
- Daytona International Speedway
- Fixed an issue where swerving suddenly into the pits on the Tri-Oval and Road Course caused the pitstop sequence to be skipped, and the car going straight to the exit.
- Sport & Lobby
- Fixed a very rare issue where an application error would occur in an online race or Lobby when entering a race event.
- My Page
- Fixed an issue where the stats for Clean Races, Fastest Laps, Pole Positions and Victories in the "Sport" category in the Profile section would not display correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the value for the "Races" statistic in the "Sport" category in the Profile section was displayed as double the correct amount.
- Others
- Fixed a rare issue where the game progression would reset if the game was started with an unstable network connection.
Server downtime
At the time of writing Gran Turismo 7 is offline, which means only arcade races from the World Circuits are available.
No information has been given about when players can expect the game to come back online.
Normally outages only last for two hours or so. However, last week GT7 was offline for over 30 hours. This led to intense fan backlash as Update 1.07 made drastic changes to the in-game economy.
Gran Turismo 7 road map
In a statement released earlier today, Kazunori Yamauchi addressed fan outrage over last week's events and provided a road map for the game.
Future updates include new cars & tracks, improved rewards, more races including endurance races, and the ability to sell cars.
