Following Kazunori Yamauchi's cryptic teaser last week, Polyphony has revealed the new cars coming to Gran Turismo 7 update 1.20 this week.
New cars coming to Gran Turismo 7 in update 1.20
F1 fans rejoice: one of the free cars included in update 1.20 will be the 1988 McLaren MP4/4 driven by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna that dominated the 1988 championship.
Utilising a 1.5-litre turbocharged V6 Honda engine, we expect the McLaren MP4/4 will only be available in the Legends Car Dealership, so start saving up your credits.
Joining the McLaren MP4/4 in update 1.20 is the 1969 Pontiac GTO ‘The Judge’ and the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4.
In addition, the bespoke De Tomaso Mangusta designed in collaboration with Dior revealed last month will also be added to the game in the update along with a custom racing suit.
No other details were mentioned, so we’ll have to wait until the patch notes are out to find out what else update 1.20 will add.
New Catalunya track layouts
That’s not all, as we’re also getting three new layouts for the Catalunya circuit. Update 1.20 will add new rallycross and national layouts for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, along with a GP layout that removes the chicane.
New GT Café Menu Books
To expand the single-player campaign, update 1.20 will also add two new GT Café Menu Books The ‘Collection: Abarth' opens at Collector Level 27, while the ‘Collection: Gr.2 Racing Cars' opens at Collector Level 38.
Finally, a new Canadian Rockies will be added as a new featured Scape location.
