Just over a week after the April update, Gran Turismo 7 has received a surprise patch update. Polyphony has released the patch notes detailing what’s new in update 1.47.
Before you get excited, this isn’t a monthly content update, so don't expect any new cars, Menu Books, or World Circuits events. Instead, this is a small hotfix that addresses a couple of niggling issues.
Available to download now, update 1.47 addresses an issue where car settings could be changed even in events that don’t allow this. In addition, the patch fixes a glitch where wheels could not be fitted to the Lexus LFA after installing update 1.46.

There are no other fixes, but here are the official patch notes:
Improvements and Adjustments
1. Car Settings
- We fixed an issue in which car settings could be changed even when car settings were deemed prohibited in event regulations.
2. Cars
- We addressed an issue in which some wheels could not be equipped on the following cars after Update 1.46 was installed:
・Lexus LFA '10
When will the May update arrive?
While the hotfix was a light update, we’re expecting the next monthly content update to roll out later this month. Every update in 2024 so far has added three new cars to the roster, so this trend will likely continue in the May update, which will most likely be update 1.48.
April’s update added the Skoda Vision GT, Afeela Prototype, and Chevrolet Chevelle, along with new Menu Books, World Circuits events, engine swaps, and a Scape location.
Most GT7 updates are released on the final Thursday of the month. If update 1.48 continues this pattern, we can expect GT7’s next content rollout to arrive on Thursday, May 30, but Polyphony has yet to confirm this.
