The Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.56 is officially live and it added plenty of exciting content to the game. It introduced three cars, including an iconic truck from German powerhouse Mercedes-Benz, added three "World Circuits" events, and made two more circuits Sophy compatible.

While Update 1.56 adds a good amount of content to the game, which is always positive, Gran Turismo fans are far from being happy with it. The player's main issue with this update is the car selection, as they think better cars could have been added.

But let's take a look at what Update 1.56 brought to Gran Turismo 7, and you can judge for yourself if it was a good or disappointing update.

One, Two, Three New Cars!

As mentioned above, Update 1.56 brought three new cars to Gran Turismo 7, they are: Peugeot 205 GTI '88, Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 '62, and BMW Z4 3.0i '03.

While they aren't the most exciting vehicles to ever arrive at Gran Turismo 7, and fans have made that very clear in social media, they are at least quite afordable, with the Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 '62 even being the cheapest car in the Legends car dealership.

More Exciting World Circuits Events

Three new "World Circuits" events have been added on Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.56, and they are: Sunday Cup Classic, European Sunday Cup 400, and European FR Challenge 550.

The Sunday Cup Classic takes place on the Red Bull Ring Short Track. European Sunday Cup 400 happens on the Grand Valley - South Reverse. While the European FR Challenge 550 takes you to the Autodrome Lago Maggiore - East.

All of these events are based around one of the three new cars Update 1.56 introduced. This gives you a chance to try out these cars, while also honing your driving skills.

The More Sophy Circuits The Merrier

Two new circuits were made Sophy compatible, and they are: Autodromo Nazionale Monza, and Sardegna - Road Track - B.

You can now put your driving skills to the test against the Gran Turismo 7 AI in these two tracks. It will certainly be quite challenging but also incredibly entertaining.
