After the World Series Finals saw the debut of the Genesis and Bulgari Vision GT Cars, a new set of GT7 Weekly Challenges have arrived. Introduced in November’s Spec II update, these weekly challenges bring five new events to tackle, each featuring different locations, car class restrictions, and rewards.
The latest GT7 Weekly Challenges offer some big payouts, so let’s find out what’s in store for GT7 players.
GT7 Weekly Challenges 7 December
GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. To access them, you’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie.
This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 7 December at midnight local time and end on 14 December at the same time.
American FR Challenge 550
Willow Springs International Speedway – 2 laps
With no special events this week, each weekly challenge is a repeated event from World Circuits. The first challenge sees you take on Willow Springs in a two-lap race against nine vintage American sports cars.
A 550 PP rating is suggested but there are no restrictions. However, you’ll need an FR American road car to enter and claim the top 10,000 credit prize.
Japanese FR Challenge 450
Tsukuba Circuit – 3 laps
As the name suggests, the Japanese FR Challenge 450 requires a Japanese FR road car with a suggested 450 PP rating for a three-lap race around Tsukuba with eight cars on the grid.
Like the American FR Challenge, the PP rating is optional, so you can enter any Japanese FR road car you like, and finishing first will net you 10,000 credits.
World Touring Car 600
Grand Valley – Highway 1 - 5 laps
The World Touring Car 600 takes place at Grand Valley, with a five-lap race against 15 opponents. Unlike the first two events, this event is restricted to 600 PP but there are no other restrictions so you can enter a car from any manufacturer.
While the first two races offered low credit rewards, this race is worth a cool 92,000 credits for taking the victory.
Hypercar Parade
Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa+Miyabi – 4 laps
Hypercar Parade sees you take on the Kyoto Driving Park in a four-lap race. The only restriction is a road car but choose wisely because the AI are tough in this race. There’s a big payout too, with up to 100,000 credits on offer. It’s worth noting you’ll need to have started GT Cafe Menu Book 44 to enter this event.
World Touring Car 700
Red Bull Ring - 10 laps
Finally, the World Touring Car 800 event takes place at Red Bull Ring with a 10-lap race and a 115,000 credit cash price for first place. As the name suggests, this event has a 700 PP restriction and you’ll need to fit racing tyres to enter. Be aware of the high tyre wear (10x) and fuel consumption (10x) ratings.
As for this week’s bonus rewards, you’ll get a Six-Star Roulette parts ticket for completing one event and a 200,000 credit ticket for completing three. Finishing all five will earn you a Six-Star Roulette car ticket. You only need to finish third above in each event to be eligible for the bonus rewards.
