Friday is here, which means it’s time to tackle a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges. With high rewards, these Weekly Challenges are a great way to earn money fast if you’re saving up for your dream car.
This week includes another new Special Event plus a grueling final race in GR.1 prototypes at Fuji. Let’s find out what’s in store for GT7 players in week three of April's Weekly Challenges.
GT7 Weekly Challenges April 2024 Week 3
GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.
This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 19 April at midnight local time and end on 26 April at the same time.
Sunday Cup Classic
Laguna Seca – 2 laps
We start this week with another sleepy Sunday Cup event, with a two-lap race at Laguna Seca. Any road car can be entered, and while a 350 PP limit is suggested, there are no performance restrictions. You’ll only win a measly 15,000 credits for first place, so it’s not worth spending a lot on tuning.
Special Event – Tourist Trophy
Tokyo Expressway – East Clockwise – 3 laps
While most events are repurposed World Circuit races, this week brings a new Special Event exclusive to the Weekly Challenges featuring all three Audi TT generations. Naturally, you’ll need to own Audi’s front-engined sports car to enter this three-lap race at Tokyo Expressway, with 70,000 credits up for grabs.
Lightweight K-Cup
Willow Springs – 5 laps
From German sports cars to tiny Japanese kei-cars. That’s not the only restriction in this five-lap race at Willow Springs, as there’s also a 400 PP limit and you’ll also need Comfort Soft tires. You’ll also need to have at least started Bonus Menu Book 40 to start this event, with 30,000 credits awarded for victory.
Porsche Cup
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP - 5 laps
As the name suggests, you’ll need to own a Porsche to enter this event taking place at Barcelona-Catalunya GP. Although road and race cars are allowed, you need to be aware of the 650 PP limit. This is a five-lap race with no chicane and an 81,000 credit prize on offer for taking pole position.
GR.1 Prototype Series
Fuji – 10 laps
This week ends with a tough ten-lap at Fuji in high-performance GR.1 prototypes. Not only is there a 950 PP limit, but there’s also a 10x tire wear and 10x fuel consumption limit. Racing tyres are also required.
Dynamic weather is enabled, we recommend fitting intermediates in case you encounter a sudden rain shower, although you’ll have less grip in the dry. Winning this event will reward you with 175,000, so the prize isn’t too shabby.
As for this week’s bonus rewards, completing one event wins you a 6-star Parts Roulette Ticket, while completing three events gives you a 200,000 credit ticket. Completing all five events earns you a 500,000 credit ticket. As always, you don’t need to win each event to claim the rewards, as finishing in third place or above will suffice.
As always, there is also a new set of GT7 Daily Races to complete.
