A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges has arrived. This week’s events range from a casual race in FF Japanese sports cars to a Special Event in a lightweight track to a hard-fought 900PP race against GR.2 cars.
Let's find out what's in store for GT7 players in week two of February's Weekly Challenges.
GT7 Weekly Challenges February 2024 Week 2
GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.
This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 8 February at midnight local time and end on 15 February at the same time.
Japanese FF Challenge 450
High Speed Ring - 2 laps
The first challenge is a leisurely two-lap race around High Speed Ring in front-wheel drive Japanese sports cars with eight cars on the grid. As the name suggests, you’ll need a Japanese road car to be eligible for this event.
There are no other regulations as 450PP is suggested but not required. Winning this event will net you a measly 7,000 credits.
The Silvia Sisters
Willow Springs International Speedway – 3 laps
You’ll need to own a Nissan Silvia, 180X or SilEighty for this themed three-lap race at Willow Springs. Not only that, but you’ll also need to have started Bonus Menu Book 45 by reaching Collector Level 27 before you can enter it. You’ll win 35,000 credits for taking victory.
This is the second Silvia-themed Weekly Challenge event in two weeks after the Deep Forest Raceway Silvia Sisters event in January Week 4.
Special Event – Radical SR3 SL – One Make
Nurburgring GP – 4 laps
The next event is more lucrative, with a 75,000-credit prize for finishing first place. This is a one-make race at the Nurburgring GP course requiring you to own the Radical SR3 SL track car. There are no PP restrictions in this four-lap race so you can tune it up as much as you want.
American Clubman Cup 700
Trial Mountain – 5 laps
The next race is all about American cars, with the American Clubman Cup 700 taking place at Trial Mountain. As such, you’ll need an American road car for this five-lap event but there are no PP restrictions. You’ll win 90,000 credits for victory.
World Touring Car 900
Autopolis International Racing Course – 10 laps
Finally, the World Touring Car 900 event takes us to Autopolis for a ten-lap race against GR.2 opponents. With a hefty 900PP cap and high fuel consumption (10x) and tyre wear (13x) rates, this race will test you. You'll be rewarded with 150,000 credits for winning this tricky race.
As for this week’s bonus rewards, completing one event gives you a 6-Star Roulette Ticket (parts), while completing three events wins you a 200,000-Credit Ticket. Complete all five events, and you’ll get 500,000 credits. It’s worth noting you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to qualify for the rewards.
As well as the Weekly Challenges, there’s a new set of GT7 Daily Races to tackle that see you go karting.
