GT Sport: New Time Trials, Gr. 3 Super Lap, 86 & BRZ Super Lap!

To help us usher in 2021 we have our first new selection of Time Trials to master on GT Sport.

With some familiar cars in some unfamiliar locations, we're excited to see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

But first, let's jump in and take a look at what these Time Trials are, and where you'll be racing!

Gr.3 Super Lap

Firstly, you'll be using any Gr. 3 garage car that you own in order to compete.

GROUP 3: This class is full of some absolute monsters!

Balance of Performance is turned on for the Time Trial, so pick what you're comfortable driving. The only other stipulation is that you're using Racing Hard tyres, and the settings for the car are fixed.

However, this is where things started to change up. The track you'll be competing at is Blue Moon Speedway's tri-oval course.

You won't need the brake much for this at all, so make sure to get on the power early and don't let go of it!

86 & BRZ Super Lap

This is a slightly different story this time, as the second Time Trial is a slightly more normal affair.

TUNING TIME: You can tune to your heart's content in the second time trial!

You'll have to use a car you own again, one of either the Subaru BRZ or the Toyota GT86, both of which are the 2015 variant.

Balance of Performance is turned off, so you're cars are free to tune how you see fit. However, there is a weight and power limit of 198 hp and 1230 kg!

This time, you'll be at the Red Bull Ring GP variant, where there is plenty of scope for your setup to make all the difference.

GT Sport Daily Races

Despite the name, GT Sport daily races change weekly and we make sure to cover them as well!
