With a very special race taking place this week, Gran Turismo 7 is setting its players a daunting task in this week's GT7 Daily Races.
The new trio of Sport Mode events will send players around the world before ending up in France for a blast around the Circuit de la Sarthe to celebrate the Le Mans 24h which takes place this weekend.
Race A
Grand Valley - South - 6 laps
The first race this week takes us to Grand Valley South for six laps in the Honda Civic SiR-II (EG) '93. This race features 12 cars and uses a grid start to get things underway.
There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, and everyone will use the Comfort Medium tyres.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP for this race, with no further adjustments allowed. SR is on for this one but DR is not which means your finishing position in this race won't impact your Driver Rating.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties, light wall collision penalties, and penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Red Bull Ring - 6 laps
Next up is a six-lap race around the Red Bull Ring in Gr.3 machines. This race features 16 drivers, and will use a rolling start to get underway. In a rolling start race the back of the field is further from the leader than they would be at a grid start so qualifying is even more important.
There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear in this race, and everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP for this race, with brake balance adjustments the only permitted change. Both DR and SR are switched on here, so keep your racing clean and fast.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race C
Le Mans - 6 laps
The final race is another six-lapper, this time around the full Le Mans 24hr course in Gr.1 machines. The 16-car field will use a rolling start so again qualifying will be important.
There is 3x fuel consumption and 6x tyre wear in this race as well as a mandatory pit stop. With the Racing Medium compound being the only dry tyre available, you should pit at the end of lap three.
Each car will use a high-speed BoP for this race, with brake balance adjustments the only permitted change. Both DR and SR are switched on here, so keep your racing clean and fast.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars. There is also a penalty for cutting the pit lane lines so be sure to stay on the correct side when you make your stop.
