Sport Mode has refreshed again, with a new set of GT7 Daily Races. This week sees players go from Japan, to Spain, to the USA in search of quality racing.

Each race this week will pose a unique problem, with under-powered cars, tricky circuits, and tyre strategy all playing a part. Let's take a look at what awaits this week.

Race A

Tsukuba - 8 laps

The first race this week takes us to the wonderful Tsukuba for eight laps in the Mazda Roadster Touring Car. This classic short track is a perfect playground for such a nimble but underpowered car.

The 12-car field will use a grid start, and everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre. There is 1x fuel consumption & tyre wear so no need to worry about pitstops in this race.

Every player will use a low-speed BoP, but partial suspension and differential changes are allowed. Oddly, both DR & SR are switched on for Race A, so your result and clean driving will count toward your rankings.

There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions with other cars.

Race B

Barcelona-Catalunya - No Chicane - 5 laps

The next race takes us to sunny Spain for five laps of the superior no-chicane layout of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Gr.3 cars. For some reason this race has a specific car regulation, but with 48 to choose from that should be the whole Gr.3 field.

The 16-car field will use a rolling start, and everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre. There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear in this race.

Every car will use a mid-speed BoP, with only brake balance adjustments allowed. As usual, DR & SR are on for this race, so be fast and keep it clean.

Race C

Watkins Glen - Long Course - 9 laps

The final race of the week takes us to the excellent Watkins Glen for nine laps in Gr.4 cars.

The 16-car field will again use a rolling start so qualifying well will be important. Everyone will be on the Racing Medium tyre and there is 1x fuel consumption but 5x tyre wear with a mandatory pitstop. That means you will need to decide if you do a 4-5 or 5-4 strategy.
