It's almost Christmas, but before we exchange presents and eat too much there is some racing to be done. Gran Turismo 7's latest batch of Sport Mode races has arrived and includes some excellent combinations for racers around the world.
While players wait for news of a December update, there is a lot of racing to be done. So let's take a look at what you can get up to in Sport Mode this week.
Race A
Tokyo Expressway - Central Clockwise - 4 laps
Race A is once again semi-ranked, with only DR switched off. In this race everyone will be driving the Toyota Prius G '09 around Tokyo.
The 12-car field will get begin the race with a grid start and be on the Comfort Medium tyre. There is just 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, so no need to worry about that.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP for this race, with no further tuning allowed. While the result won't impact your DR, SR is switched on here so crashes will go against you.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and light penalties for wall collisions. There are also penalties for collisions with other drivers.
Race B
Deep Forest - 6 laps
The first fully ranked race of the week sees players jump into Gr.3 cars for six laps around Deep Forest.
In this race there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, and everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre. The 16-car field will use a rolling start to get the race underway.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, but brake balance adjustments are allowed. Your driving and the result of the race will impact both DR & SR.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and light penalties for wall collisions. There are also penalties for collisions with other drivers.
Race C
Interlagos - 11 laps
The final race of the week takes to the brilliant Interlagos for 11 laps of Gr.4 racing.
There is 1x fuel consumption and 5x tyre wear in this race, and everyone will be on the Racing Medium tyre. You have to make 1 pit stop in this race, so the key decision will be if you pit after five or six laps.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP for this race, with no further tuning allowed. While the result won't impact your DR, SR is switched on here so crashes will go against you.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and light penalties for wall collisions. There are also penalties for collisions with other drivers.
There is also a penalty for pit lane line cutting, so when you make your stop be sure to stay on the correct side of the line!
