Polyphony greets 2023 with a trio of fresh Sport Mode races for players to enjoy. Let's take a look and see exactly what they have to offer racers this week.
Race A
Tsukuba - 8 laps
This week's unranked race puts players in the Mazda Roadster NR-A (ND) '22 for eight laps of Tsukuba.
There is no tuning challenge this time, as a low-speed BoP has been applied.
There is a grid start with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, and you will be on the Comfort Soft tyre.
As usual, DR & SR are unaffected by performance in this race, and there is no mandatory pitstop.
Light mechanical damage is on and there are light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions.
Race B
Watkins Glen - 5 laps
the first ranked race of the week takes us to the amazing Watkins Glen for a Gr.4 race.
You will be on the Racing Medium tyres for this one, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. A mid-speed BoP will be applied.
This race will use a rolling start, so be sure to get a qualifying time on the board. There is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions.
Race C
Mount Panorama - 10 laps
The final race of the week is a glorious Gr.3 challenge at Mount Panorama.
For this one players will have to use both the Racing Medium and Hard compounds, while fighting against 3x fuel consumption and 8x tyre wear.
A high-speed BoP will be applied, while there is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions.
There are also penalties for crossing the pit lane line so be careful when you exit the pits!
