October has arrived and after a disappointing update 1.38 Sport Mode has ticked over with a new set of GT7 Daily Races.
This week will see a double dose of US racing along with a tricky tyre management race at an iconic venue. With Forza Motorsport unlocking this week, Gran Turismo players have a bit more competition for their time.
Race A
Grand Vally - South - 7 laps
This week's Race A is only half unranked, with DR unaffected by this race but SR will be.
This seven-lap race will use the new Honda Civic Type R (FLS) '22 around Grand Valley South. Drivers will be on the Sports Hard tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
The race will start with a grid start, and every car will be using a mid-speed BoP. There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Race B
Trial Mountain - Reverse - 4 laps
The first fully ranked race of the week takes us to Trial Mountain for four laps around the reverse circuit in Gr.4 cars.
Every car will be on the Racing Medium tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, and there will be a rolling start for this 16-car field.
Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP, but brake balance adjustments are allowed. As a fully ranked race, both DR & SR will be impacted by your performance.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Race C
Nurburgring - Sprint - 15 laps
This week's Race C is a winner with us, as it will be 15 laps around the Nurburgring GP sprint layout in Gr.3 cars, but with a few additional features. Everyone will be on the Racing Soft tyre, but with 2x fuel consumption and 6x tyre wear complicating matters.
Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance allowed. There is no mandatory pitstop in this race, but with the high tyre wear it may well be faster to get a fresh set of boots on.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
