A new week brings a change to Sport Mode as the GT7 Daily Races 21 August are here. Players now have a new trio of races to enjoy, and this week is providing some classic combinations.
Table of Contents
So what do Sport Mode racers have to take on this week? Let's take a look!
Race A
Grand Valley - Highway 1 - 5 laps
The unranked race this week puts you in an absolutely gorgeous car for five laps of Highway 1. Players will be racing the incredible Ferrari F40 at Grand Valley.
Everyone will be on the Sports Hard tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 12-car field will use a grid start for this race.
BoP is locked to a mid-speed setup with no other tuning allowed. As usual DR & SR will be unaffected by your performance in this race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light penalties for shortcuts and collisions.
Race B
Spa - 5 laps
The first ranked race of the week will take players to Spa-Francorchamps for five laps of Gr.3 racing, a true classic combo!
The 16-car field will use a rolling start, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre for this one.
Every car will use a high-speed BoP tune, and as it is a ranked race your DR & SR will be affected by performance.
There is light mechanical damage for this race along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Race C
Nurburgring GP - 9 laps
The final race of the week takes us to the Nurburgring for nine laps around the GP layout in Gr.4 cars.
The 16-car field will use a rolling start, and there is 7x fuel consumption and 1x tyre wear for this race. Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre and there is no mandatory pitstop. Of course, that high fuel consumption means you might be quicker by having a splash-and-dash stop!
Every car will use a mid-speed BoP for this race, and of course DR & SR are affected by how well you do and how cleanly you race in this one.
There is light mechanical damage for this race, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions.
Time trials
At the time of writing there are three time trials you can enter in Sport Mode. There are just two days left on the Mount Panorama-Maserati MC20 time trial. The record stands at 2:10.621. Getting within 3% of that will bank you 2 million credits. Times within 5% get 1 million, while those that are 10% within the time get 250,000 credits.
You have nine days left on the Suzuka-Gr.2 challenge. The top of the leaderboard is dominated by the NSX Concept-GT '16, so you should probably use that car too! The leading time at the moment is 1:48.500 and you can get the same rewards as above for competing.
Finally, there is the Red Bull Ring-GT-R NISMO challenge connected to the Gran Turismo movie. You still have 37 days to complete this time trial. The best time currently stans at 1:28.022, with all the rewards the same as above.
