Gran Turismo 7 may be entering an odd phase, but the GT7 Daily Races are still refreshing every Monday! This week we have three new races to contend with, including a couple of classic combinations.
The unranked race this week is a GT special, while we will be taking some epic cars to amazing locations in the other two races. With a massive update expected soon, fans are hoping the GT7 gets a new breath of life.
Race A
Alsace - Test Course Reverse - 5 laps
The unranked race this week takes us to the short and hilly Alsace Test Course for five laps in the Sambabus! The 12-car field will use a grid start and everyone will be on the Comfort Soft tyres. There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear in this race.
Everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP for this race, in which maintaining momentum through the corners will be key.
DR is off for this race, but SR will be impacted by any crashes and collisions so be sure to keep it clean!
There is light mechanical damage in this race, along with light penalties for shortcuts and wall collisions. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Interlagos - 6 laps
The first fully ranked race of the week is a classic Gr.3 race at Interlagos. This is one of the best combinations in GT7, and will have players racing it out over six laps.
The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so qualifying well will be important. Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for the race.
Everyone will use a mid-speed BoP in this race, but brake balance adjustments are allowed.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions in this race.
Race C
Lago Maggiore - Full Course Reverse - 10 laps
The final race of the week takes us Lago Maggiore for 10 laps around the full reverse layout in Gr.2 cars.
This race will require a pitstop, as both the Racing Medium & Soft are mandatory tyre compounds for this race. There is also 2x fuel consumption and 7x tyre wear so it will be a battle to get enough laps out of the soft in this one.
The 16-car field will also be using a rolling start so be sure to qualify well!
Once again a mid-speed BoP will be applied to every car, but brake balance adjustments are allowed.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and penalties for collisions in this race. There is also a penalty for pit lane line cutting so be sure to stay on the correct side when making your mandatory stop!
