As January fades without an update, GT7 daily races look like they will be the main content of Gran Turismo 7 going forward.
This week has a very special challenge in Race C that is hopefully a sign of a new era coming for Sport Mode.
Let's see what Polyphony has in store for players this week.
Race A
Lago Maggiore - West End Reverse - 6 laps
This week's unranked race puts you in the BAC Mono '16 for six laps of Lago Maggiore west end reverse.
You will be on the Racing Hard tyre for this race with a 12-car field and a grid start.
There is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear, along with a mid-speed BoP on the car.
There is light mechanical damage along with light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions.
Race B
Deep Forest Raceway - 5 laps
This Gr.4 race should be a good one at the fast and flowing Deep Forest Raceway.
Drivers will be on the Racing Medium tyres for this one with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
The race will use a 16-car rolling start, so qualifying will be important.
A mid-speed BoP will be applied to your car, which should be a WRX if you want to use the meta.
There is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions.
Race C
Suzuka - 7 laps
This week's final race is a very special one. Rather than being a specific class or car, you have an option of Nissan's and tuning possibilities too.
The usable car list is:
- Silvia Q's (S13) '88
- Silvia K's Dia Selection (S13) '90
- Silvia K's Type S (S14) '94
- 180SX Type X '96
- Silvia K's Aero (S14) '96
- Sileighty '98
- Silvia spec-R Aero (S15) '02
Once you've picked your car you need to make sure it matches these criteria. PP must be below 600, it can have a maximum of 345 BHP and it must way at least 1,000kg.
You can use any of the Sports tyres to keep your PP balanced, and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear and there is no mandatory pitstop.
There is light mechanical damage as well as light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions.
