A new weed has arrived after a disappointing Update 1.43, and with it a new set of GT7 Daily Races.
This week sees a true Gran Turismo classic race, along with a Gr.B tarmac race and a trip to one of the most iconic tracks in Europe. So what awaits in Sport Mode this week? Let's take a look!
Race A
Lago Maggiore - East End Reverse - 8 laps
The first race of this week is a specific Gr.B race around the East End Reverse layout of Lago Maggiore. This is a short course, and is a bit of a weird home for Gr.B cars.
Everyone will be on the Comfort Soft tyres, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 12-car field will use a grid start, with false start checks, to begin the race.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. DR is off for this race, but SR will still be keeping track of you so keep it clean.
There is light mechanical damage, light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions with other players.
Race B
Trial Mountain - 4 laps
Next up is a Gran Turismo classic, four laps of Trial Mountain in Gr.3 cars!
The 16-car field will use a rolling start to begin, so you will want to ensure you get a qualifying lap in. Everyone will be on the Racing Medium tyre and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, but there are plenty of changes you can still make. Partial suspension and partial gearing changes are allowed, as are brake balance adjustments.
Both DR & SR are on for this race. There is light mechanical damage, light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions with other players.
Race C
Brands Hatch - GP - 11 laps
The final race of the week takes us to the wonderful Brands Hatch for 11 laps in Gr.4 cars around the full Grand Prix layout.
The 16-car field will use a rolling start once again, so qualifying is crucial. Everyone will be on the Racing Medium tyre and there is 1x fuel consumption but 5x tyre wear.
There is also a mandatory pitstop in this race. With The Racing Medium tyre the only one available it will be a choice between stopping on lap 5 or lap 6.
Each car will use a low-speed BoP, with partial suspension and partial gearing changes allowed, along with brake balance adjustments.
Both DR & SR are on for this race. There is light mechanical damage, light shortcut penalties, and penalties for collisions with other players. There are also penalties for pit lane line cutting so be sure to stay on the correct side.
