A new week means the GT7 Daily Races 9 October have arrived. The weekly Sport Mode refresh brings a fresh trio of races for online drivers to take on.
While Forza Motorsport launches this week, Gran Turismo 7 continues to plod along with its core Sport Mode racers the only ones really engaging with the game regularly. So will these races stop people jumping across? Let's find out!
Race A
Special Stage Route X - 1 lap
The unranked race this week takes us to the ultra-long oval that is Special Stage Route X for a one-lap race. Players will have the choice of 16 cars for this race, but the only one you should be picking is the Pagani Huayra '13, it is easily the best car for this one.
The 12-car field will use a rolling start and the Sports Soft tyres, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
You are able to tune the car in this race, so be sure to set it up for maximum straight-line speed! As usual, DR and SR are both unaffected by performance in this race.
There is no mechanical damage for this one, but there are penalties for shortcuts and collisions with other drivers.
Race B
Laguna Seca - 6 laps
The first ranked race this week is six laps of Gr.4 action around Laguna Seca. The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so you'll want to qualify well as overtaking is tough here.
The field will be on Racing Soft tyres, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for the race.
Everyone will use a low-speed BoP in this race, but brake balance adjustments are allowed. Your performance in this race will affect DR & SR, so be sure to keep it clean!
There is light mechanical damage, along with penalties for shortcuts and collisions.
Race C
Watkins Glen - 10 laps
The final race of the week is a 10-lap Gr.3 trial at Watkins Glen. Players will need to use the Racing Hard and Soft tyres, meaning a pitstop is required for this race. You might not get much life from the softs as there is 6x tyre wear in this race too.
Everyone will use a mid-speed BoP, but brake balance adjustments are allowed. Your performance will affect your DR & SR ratings too.
There is light mechanical damage, along with penalties for shortcuts and collisions. There is also a penalty for pitlane line cutting so be sure to stay on the correct side when coming in and exiting.
