Monday brings a new set of Sport Mode racing for players to enjoy as the GT7 Daily Races 9 September are live.
This week's set take players to three classic venues, but there isn't much special to this week's racing as the weird cars and tuning take a break.
Race A
Deep Forest Raceway - 5 laps
This week's first race takes players to Deep Forest Raceway for five laps in Gr.4 machinery.
Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear. The 12-car field will use a rolling start to get underway, so qualifying will be important as the field spread can be massive.
There is no tuning here, as every car will use a mid-speed BoP. However, you can adjust brake balance yourself.
DR is switched off for this race, but SR is still tracking your performance so keep it clean.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties and light penalties for wall collisions. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Fuji International Speedway - 5 laps
Next up is another five-lapper. This time we're at Fuji International Speedway in Gr.3 cars, a classic combo for Gran Turismo 7.
Everyone must use the Racing Medium tyre, and there is 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear for the race. The 16-car field will use a rolling start, so again qualifying is important.
Once again everyone will be using a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. Both DR and SR are on for this race.
There is light mechanical damage and light shortcut penalties for this race. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race C
Monza - 11 laps
The final race this week is a tricky strategy test of 11 laps around Monza in Gr.1 cars. These ultra-fast machines can only use Racing Soft tyres, and there is 2x fuel consumption and 4x tyre wear.
There is a mandatory pit stop in this race, so you'll need to make a set of softs last six laps which will be tough. Once again the 16-car field will use a rolling start.
Every car will use a high-speed BoP, with only brake balance adjustments permitted. Both DR and SR are switched on for this race.
As mentioned previously, there is a mandatory pitstop and there are penalties for cutting the pit lane lines on entry and exit so be careful when making your stop.
