It's a big week for Gran Turismo 7 players as Update 1.43 approaches. Before that though, there is a new trio of Sport Mode races to take on.
This week takes players from America to Australia with some rule sets that will make for thrilling races. Here's everything you need to conquer the 26 February GT7 Daily Races!
Race A
Watkins Glen - Short Course - 5 laps
The first race fo the week takes us to Watkins Glen for five laps of the short course in the Maserati Merak SS '80. The 12-car field will use a grid start to get the race going.
Every car will be on the Sports Hard tyre with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Each driver will use a mid-speed BoP, with no further tweaks allowed. DR is off for this race, but SR will be tracking so keep it clean.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars.
Race B
Grand Valley - South Reverse - 6 laps
The next race is six laps of the South Reverse layout at Grand Valley in Gr.4 cars.
For this one the 16-car field will use a rolling start, so be sure to qualify or you will be way behind the leader. Everyone will be on the Racing Hard tyre, with 1x fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Each car will use a mid-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed. DR & SR are switched on for this race.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars and light penalties for wall riding.
Race C
Mount Panorama - 10 laps
The final race this week is an intense battle around Mount Panorama in Gr.3.
This race will feature a 16-car field and a rolling start, but the tyre strategy will be the important factor. Each player must use both the Racing Soft and Medium tyres, which means a pitstop is mandatory in this race.
Fuel consumption is set to 2x and tyre wear is 7x, so some testing will need to be done to see how long those softs last.
Everyone will be using a high-speed BoP, with brake balance adjustments allowed but that is all. DR & SR will be on for this event.
There is light mechanical damage, along with light shortcut penalties. There are also penalties for collisions with other cars and light penalties for wall riding. You can also get a penalty for cutting the pit lane lines so be sure you stay on the correct side!
