Gran Turismo 7 has a wealth of car customisation options, allowing you to upgrade components and design custom liveries. But when it comes to your user profile, the options are limited.
Your GT7 user profile features a flag representing your country. If you live in the UK, for example, your profile displays a Union Jack flag. If you're wondering how to change country in Gran Turismo 7, we have the answer right here.
How to change country in Gran Turismo 7
Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to change country in Gran Turismo 7. GT7’s profile settings let you change your nickname and race difficulty settings, but there is no option to change country in GT7.
The country displayed on your GT7 profile is linked to the region of your PSN account. Unfortunately, you can’t change the region of an existing PSN account. This means the only way to change country in Gran Turismo 7 is to create a new PSN profile.
Creating a PlayStation Network account for a different region
Creating a PlayStation Network account only takes a few minutes. First, visit the PlayStation Network website, go to sign in, then create an account. Then enter a different email address that isn’t linked to a PlayStation Network account.
You then need to enter your sign-in ID, date of birth, password, and gender. A drop-down box also lets you change your region. Once this is set and your account is set up, your region can’t be changed.
We don’t recommend creating a new PSN account if you just want to change country in GT7. Save data is also linked to your PSN account, meaning any progress made in GT7 on your old account will be lost.
