If you're struggling to stay on the track in Gran Turismo Sport, it could be down to your display settings. It may sound obvious, but if you can't clearly see where you're going, then you won't be able to be quick.
We've got everything you need to know to optimise your display settings right here!
Display settings
When you launch GT Sport for the first time, you get the option to set your display settings. This is all well and good, but it doesn't allow you to see how the game will look in different light conditions. For example, your brightness settings may be fine in the day, but they might be too dark for the night.
Like anything in GT, this is best to test out in an actual race. If you don't like what you see and you need to change the settings, this is what you need to do.
From the main menu, you need to head to the GT menu in the top-left of the screen by pressing X and then options.
From the options menu, go to "Display settings" within the Global options page.
Pressing X on Display Settings will bring up this menu and everything will be here to change. Depending on what kind of TV you have, these settings will change.
HDR Peak Brightness sets the overall brightness of the screen. If it's too dark, turn it up, too bright, turn it down. Saturation is how bold the colours on the screen are.
If you want some help, you can go into the Display Settings Assistant and that will open the assistant you saw when you first opened the game. It'll also help you visualise the changes you're making, but the best thing to do is to go out on track.
