Being quick and consistent are the two more important things for success in racing. In Gran Turismo 7, you need to ensure that both of these are met to win races consistently.
So, you need to ensure you have the correct view set in GT7. How do you change this on PS4 though? We've got everything you need to know right here!
The different views on offer
You can change the view you're using at any time during a race in GT7. The button you use to change this is the same on both PS5 and PS4. R1 is the default button for this command, but this will be different if you're using a wheel.
If you're ever unsure about which button you have set as change view, you can go to settings, then controller settings and look at the command map.
When in the race, you have four choices of view. These are cockpit, nose, chase and roof cams. Chase is a third-person view behind the car, cockpit is the driver's eye, and the roof and nose cams are as if the camera is mounted on these parts of the car.
If you're going for realism, cockpit is where it's at. For the best view in terms of scope, it's the chase cam. Finally, the nose and roof cams both offer good perspectives on what's in front of you on-track.
