How to change view in Gran Turismo Sport

One of the defining ways in which people can play racing games is the view that they use.

Whether you're a fan of the true immersion provided by the in-car viewpoint, or if you prefer the wider view of a chase came, games nowadays have it all.

Gran Turismo Sport is no different, so let's take a look now at how you can change your view also!

Change your view

Gran Turismo Sport boasts four different viewing angles for players to race with, each of which has different advantages.

NEW ANGLES: A new viewing angle can really change the way you play the game!

In order to change between the different views, you can use R1 to toggle between the four different angles. This is only for those using the standard wireless controller.

Naturally, if you have selected a different control scheme, or have set up your own controls, then the change view button will be different.

View advantages

Obviously, there are no objective advantages to certain different viewing angles. These are mainly down to a personal preference.

WAYS TO PLAY: What angle do you like using in-game?

If you're a big fan of having your head in the game, then I highly recommend using cockpit view. This is the closest to what a real racing driver sees when racing.

The standard view is mounted just on the front of the car, and the bonnet view is roughly in the middle of the windscreen, with the bonnet visible at the bottom of the screen.

Finally, the chase cam follows the car, meaning that the entire vehicle is visible when racing.

Gran Turismo 7

The arrival of Gran Turismo 7 is still on the horizon, although it was recently announced that the release of the game will be delayed until 2022.

So for now, let’s enjoy the announcement trailer from last year!
