So, we're going to show you how to get a perfect nitro boost in Asphalt 9: Legends for all the systems it's available on!
How to get a Perfect Nitro in Asphalt 9: Legends
Asphalt 9: Legends is serious fun for an arcade racer. Whether you're playing on your iOS or Android mobile device, the Nintendo Switch or Windows PC, you're bound to have a lot of fun with this title.
There are new cars, codes and modes being added by developer Gameloft all the time, even over five years since Asphalt 9 launched.
Unlike a lot of arcade games, Asphalt 9: Legends features real cars from manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren.
You can use these cars in both offline Career Mode, Online Multiplayer and in the game's Daily Events.
To buy the cars from the shop, you'll need to earn money and the easiest way to do that is to win races. Getting perfect nitro in Asphalt 9 is a great way to do that, so we'll show you how.
Perfect Nitro
Any car in the game can get a perfect nitro, but to make the most use of it, you'll want a car that has high handling and nitro stats.
These stats will give you the biggest boost possible and allow you to drift with ease to collect the nitro required for it.
It doesn't really matter which race you choose, but you're best off going with one around a circuit that you know well. A track that you have more experience around will allow you to make the most of corners and avoid accidents.
You can gain nitro in many ways, such as overtaking and taking out other drivers, drifting, near-misses and more. You'll notice as you do these actions, the bar in the top of the screen fills up with yellow.
Tapping the nitro button on your mobile device will activate nitro boost and you'll need to tap it a second time when the bar goes into the blue zone to get a perfect boost.
Alternatively, you can double-click the boost button when the bar is full to get a "purple" perfect nitro.
On Switch or on a controller pad on PC, this is the A button. For keyboard users, this is usually the spacebar. On PC, your mapping can change this, though, so be sure to check before diving in.
You'll know when you get a perfect boost as well, as you'll blast past the competition like they're standing still!
