Gran Turismo 7 is here, and we love it. The latest Real Driving Simulator has proven to be another fine addition to one of the best racing sim series out there. One of the biggest improvements in GT7 is the implementation of a proper weather system in-game.
So, with that in mind, how do you activate rain for a race in GT7? We've got everything you need to know right here!
Here comes the rain again...
As good a game Gran Turismo Sport is, it really was lacking when it came to dynamic weather. In fact, the game didn't really have this at all, as anything other than dry conditions was only available for one circuit. Thankfully though, that's changed for GT7, as Polyphony have introduced a modern weather system into the game.
The developers have doubled down on this too by including a live weather radar that players can see while racing. This means that it's also possible for different weather conditions to be present at different parts of the circuit. This is particularly prevalent at larger circuits such as the Nurburgring.
When setting a race up in single player or online, one of the options available to you is the weather settings. It'll usually be set to random by default, but you can manually change this to ensure that rain shows up. Depending on the length of the race, you'll be given sections that you can edit.
There are so many different types of weather that you can opt for. For example, sunny conditions alone have 18 different options. You'll need to scroll down for rain weather, but once you're there, you'll be greeted with a number of types of rain.
And that's it! If you add these rainy conditions into the race, they will appear at some point.
