There are a number of defining sim racing titles for fans of racing to enjoy at the moment.
One of these is Assetto Corsa, which has received a huge amount of post launch support, as well as Assetto Corsa Competizione.
Let's take a look at how to setup VR in AC and ACC now!
VR in Assetto Corsa
One of the best ways to experience true immersion in Assetto Corsa is to use a VR headset. There are a number of these available, and they really put you there, in the game.
Thankfully, once you've got your VR headset, they're also relatively easy to setup! Here's how to do so.
Firstly, on Steam, right click Assetto Corsa and scroll down to properties. Select launch options from this menu and -vr in the box, this will enable VR in-game.
Next, when you launch the game, you should be given two options, one of which will be VR. Simply select this and get your headset on, you're in for an awesome time!
VR on console
Unfortunately, VR is not available yet on the console version of the game.
This may have something to do with the console hardware not being able to cope with such a title in VR, but we're not sure.
For now, console players will have to hope that the team behind AC add an update with VR support in future!
Assetto Corsa 2
Excitingly, we recently got confirmation that Assetto Corsa 2 is on the way.
This is currently penned in for a release in 2024, meaning fans have a fair wait until they can get their hands on the game.
However, we're excited regardless, and can't wait to see what Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games come up with for the next instalment!
