Japanese Drift Master is an open-world racing game developed by Gaming Factory that will be released on 26 March 2025. The game will allow you to explore the fictional area of the Guntama prefecture while competing to become the drift king.
In Japanese Drift Master, you will take on the role of a foreigner who wants to write their name in the Japanese drift history books and earn the title of hashiriya. The game combines manga storyline elements with classic racing game aspects.
An Immersive Gaming Experience
Japanese Drift Master aims to deliver an immersive gaming experience. It faithfully recreates the atmosphere of Japanese cities, with dynamic day and night cycles, a weather system, roads, and other elements inspired by real-life locations.
As mentioned above, the game is open-world and has more than 250 km of main roads that you will be able to explore as you drift, of course. You can use cars from famous brands such as Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru, as well as other licensed car brands, to travel these roads.
There is a paint shop where you can customize your car to your liking. If you need a little more power, the tuner shop can help you take your car to the next level.
Storyline Events that Make the Game Even More Interesting
The Japanese Drift Master has over 40 storyline-related quests, where you will compete against the best drifters in the Guntama prefecture area. Plenty of other sub-quests include drag races, drift battles, grip races, and much more.
All of these storyline events will help you reach your goal: to become one of the best drifters in the Japanese drifting scene and earn the coveted title of hashiriya.
But to get there, you will have to compete against the best of the best and not only beat them but also earn their respect. This won't be an easy task, making it even more exciting.
Japanese Drift Master Platforms
Japanese Drift Master is only coming for PC and will launch on Steam, Epic, and GOG. This is bittersweet news, as while it's great for PC players, it's sad for console users, as they won't be able to experience what looks like a splendid game.
We still don't know when or if a console version will be available. Hopefully, Gaming Factory will work on a console port and give a huge player base a chance to try out this unique title.
