We’re now just one day away from Le Mans Ultimate hitting the grid, and the release times for when early access begins have now been revealed. Let’s take a look at when you can start racing in Le Mans Ultimate where you are in the world.
Early racing
As already confirmed, Le Mans Ultimate will be entering early access on 20 February. This is instead of a full release, in order to give Studio 397 the opportunity to improve the game. Player feedback will be vital in this process, with the early access still allowing players to enjoy the game while it’s refined.
The full game will still be available from launch day, with all tracks, teams, and cars from the 2023 WEC season available to players. The 2024 roster will be added to the game during the year, to reflect the real-world changes for 2024.
So we know what date the game will launch, let’s take a look at what time you’ll be able to get behind the wheel.
Start your engines
Le Mans Ultimate will be hitting early access simultaneously around the world. That means we’ll all be sprinting to our cars on the start line at the exact same time.
If you’re in or around Le Mans itself, the game will be live from 13:00 CET. Considering the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be starting at 15:00 CET this year, that gives you a two-hour head start to explore the track ready to race.
Le Mans Ultimate fires up for the first time at 12:00 UTC in the UK, while on the east coast of the USA, it’s an early start at 7:00 EST. Racers in the Middle East can explore the Bahrain track at 16:00 AST, with racing in Japan kicking off at 21:00 JST. Brazilian drivers can get stuck in from 9:00 BRT.
As for the rest of the world, it’s either a late night or an early start. Those on the east coast of Australia need to wait until 23:00 AEST to enter the race, with New Zealand being forced to wait until 1:00 NZDT on 21 February.
Finally, Texans can rev their engines from 6:00 CST, while those in Los Angeles will have to get up early as the race begins at 4:00 PT for them. At least you’ll be getting the practice in for watching the full 24-hour race!
