Studio 397 has certainly been keeping busy because the rFactor 2 updates keep coming. At the start of the year, the popular PC racing simulation received a major update that redesigned the UI. Yesterday also saw the announcement of Daytona International Raceway.
Now, Studio 397 has announced a new race car is coming to rFactor 2 next week: the Ligier JS P320 LMP3.
Ligier JS P320 LMP3 coming to rFactor 2 next week
Announced by Studio 397 in a blog post, the Ligier JS P320 LMP3 is joining rFactor2’s LMP3 car roster next week. From 7 February, the prototype racer will be available to purchase on the rFactor 2 Steam Store page.
Its inclusion in rFactor 2 follows a successful 2021. Last year, the JS P320 won the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans endurance races.
More recently, it raced to victory in the LMP3 class at the 2022 IMSA Daytona 24 Hours.
Powering the high-downforce LMP3 car is a 5.6 litre V8 producing 460 horsepower, mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox.

Along with the Norma M30, this is the second LMP3 car you can race in rFactor 2.
