Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of our favourite racing games and Wave 6 is bringing even more content to the game.

New tracks and characters are included in Mario Kart 8's Wave 6 thanks to the Booster Course Pass. After the popularity of Wave 5, Mario Kart 8 is showing no sign of slowing down anytime soon!

So, what exactly is included in Wave 6? And when will it be released? We've got everything you need to know right here!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6

Nintendo continue to expand the catalogue of circuits that are available to players of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Wave 6 includes the Nintendo Wii version of the infamous Rainbow Road.

Also on offer are retro circuits including Tour Madrid Drive from Mario Kart Tour, Donkey Kong Mountain from the GameCube's Double Dash and the Daisy Circuit from MK Wii.

Also from MK Tour is the Piranha Plant Cove and Tour Rome Avanti. From the original Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Bowser's Castle 3 makes its way onto the Nintendo Switch.

Rosalina's Ice World is also added as part of Wave 6, having originally appeared on the 3DS MK. That's a total of 8 tracks for this Wave, these making up the Acorn and Spiny Cups.

That makes it 48 additional courses as part in the game's Booster Course Pass, doubling the base game's 48 circuits to 96 overall. By any racing game's standards, that is a huge amount.
