Gamers on two wheels around the world can rejoice, as Milestone has confirmed what we were wanting to see from this year's official game!

One of many new single-player features is the addition of Managerial Career and we're extremely excited by its inclusion. Here's why we're hyped for MotoGP 21!
The next level on next-gen
In Managerial Career, you become the head of a team with the aim to become the very best in the world on two wheels.
When it comes to success, it's always about having the right people in the right places. As Team Manager, you sit at the top and hire staff such as the Personal Manager, Chief Engineer and of course, the riders.
It's also up to you to decide where the Research and Development for the bike is taken. Engine power, aero, the frame of the bike and the electronic aids are constantly needing to be improved or you'll fall back.
Managerial Mode is MotoGP's answer to F1 2020's My Team mode and Milestone have gone to even further lengths to ensure the mode's quality.
The only thing we can truly compare it to is Football Manager, this is the mode for those that love everything about MotoGP.
Have we seen this before?
In MotoGP 20, the single player campaign does include elements of managing the team you're racing for. You can hire and fire staff, as well as dictate the direction in which the development of the bike is taken.
What's different for 2021 is the level of detail which you're able to go into. There is so much to sink your teeth into here, it's right that this should be a separate game mode, as it's about far more than riding the bike.
It's not yet clear whether you'll be able to sit out actually racing the bike if you want to. However, it would be a shame not to do so, as there's a lot to be excited about when it comes to MotoGP on next-gen.
When you consider the gameplay improvements this year, such as an improved AI, this really could be the best MotoGP game we've seen yet!
