MotoGP 22 Nine: Complete Season Walkthrough, Challenges and Rewards - Part 1

MotoGP 22 is here, and oh boy, are we happy! You can read why we're so impressed with MotoGP 22 in our full review of the game right here.

One of the main reasons we love MotoGP 22 is thanks to the game's innovative Nine Season. Nine takes us back to a classic season in MotoGP history, 2009. There's a challenge available for every one of the 17 races that season.

This is a very long game mode and adds hours to the experience. So, we'll be splitting this walkthrough into four parts. Here's the first four of races with the rewards you'll earn for completing them!

You then jump to the seat of Rossi, where you need to overake both Jorge Lorenzo and Loris Capirossi within three laps. For the bonus, you'll need to gap all of them by over a second.

The final of three epsiodes in Qatar has you race as Lorenzo, where you're needing to get from fifth to third in five laps. If you get onto the podium and clear by 0.5 seconds, you'll earn the bonus reward for Qatar.

We head to Spain next, the home race of both Pedrosa and Lorenzo. You're controlling Rossi, as he battles with Stoner for second place. Passing Stoner on the first tour of your three-lap challenge will see you earn a bonus.

Episode Two sees Rossi take on Pedrosa for the win. Gapping him by over half a second will see you unlock the bonus reward.

We then go into the overalls of Stoner, who is quick, but is struggling to control his Ducati bike. A radical design has meant that the bike is very unstable, and you'll need to finish on the podium to pass this Episode. Preventing Lorenzo from passing you at any point will see you also win the bonus prize.

TRICKY CONDITIONS: The damp road in France throws a few curveballs your way

Standard reward: Marco Melandri Official livery

Bonus reward: Yuki Takahashi Official livery

France and the Le Mans Bugatti circuit hosted the fourth round of the 2009 season. Damp conditions make racing impossible, with Rossi flying off the road after changing to dry tyres too soon.

You're riding as Lorenzo, who has just changed to dry tyres. You'll need to lead after two laps and by a gap of over 5.3 seconds if you're to take the bonus prize for this level.

For Episode two, we take control of Marco Melandri, who is struggling in the midfield. You've changed the slick tyres at the right time and need to reach second from eleventh on the road. You have seven laps to do so and will need to pass a rider every lap to get the bonus prize.

The third and final episode of Le Mans is where you play as Pedrosa. Pedrosa is chasing down Andrea Dovizioso for third place. Dovizioso is six seconds ahead, and you've got eight laps to chase him down. You'll need to pull out a gap if 0.5 seconds to claim the bonus prize.

And that concludes the first part of our Nine Mode Walkthrough for MotoGP 22. We'll be bringing you the next three parts shortly, so keep it tuned to Racinggames for our latest articles!
