GRID Legends launches next week on 25 February – but EA Play subscribers can enjoy Codemaster’s latest racer three days early.
After the company was acquired by EA for a whopping $1.2 billion, several Codemasters titles were added to the EA Play subscription service. These include F1 2021, DiRT Rally 2.0, DiRT 5, and the 2019 GRID reboot.
Play GRID Legends three days early on EA Play
EA Play members will get a 10-hour free trial of GRID Legends on 22 February – three days before the general release. As a result, you can sample the Driven to Glory story mode, hop-in multiplayer, and a rich variety of racing disciplines.
After the trial ends, progress will carry over if you decide to buy the full game. On the PlayStation and Xbox stores, EA Play subscribers will get a 10% discount on GRID Legend.
EA Play is a subscription service that gives members access to exclusive in-game challenges, rewards and content. Subscribers also get early trials of new titles and access to back catalogue games.
An EA Play subscription costs £3.99 a month or you can pay £19.99 for a full year. Upgrading to an EA Pro membership costs £14.99 per month or £89.99 a year.
It’s worth noting that EA Play also comes with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you already have a PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can access the GRID Legends free trial next week.
GRID Legends Deluxe free for EA Play Pro subscribers
On 22 February, EA Pro members will get unlimited access to the GRID Legends Deluxe Edition at no extra cost. The Deluxe Edition includes the Seneca & Ravenwest Pack, four post-launch packs, Mechanic Pass, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Audi R8 1:1, and exclusive challenges.
GRID Legends release date
For non-EA Play subscribers, GRID Legends will be released on 25 February on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The digital Deluxe Edition will be released three days earlier on 22 February.
