Formula One is back this weekend, with the F1 2021 season opener in Bahrain this weekend.
Codemasters has partnered up with Brimingham St Mary's hospice to encourage players to 'plug in and play' and raise money for charity.
So, let's take a look at the partnership now, and what it means for fans and what we can do for the hospice.
#F1RaiseYourGame
The campaign is an initiative from the Hospice and Codemasters to encourage players to race, donate and challenge their friends. You may be needing a Bahrain setup for this one.
With Bahrain coming up this weekend, this is a perfect opportunity to get your racing and fast-lap attempts shared on social media!
This will also be a chance to compete against members of the official Codemasters 'Racing Ahead' creator program.
Birmingham St Mary's Hospice
The Hospice, which is based in Birmingham, very close to the Codemasters headquarters.
The hospice provides support for free to people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Naturally, over the last 12 months, there has been little opportunity for physical events and therefore fundraising.
This is a perfect opportunity for gamers to make a real difference through fun and friendly competition, and once again through a Codemasters title.
Donations can be made on the Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice websiteor on the official Codemasters Just Giving page.
New Podium Pass
The new Podium Pass also launched today, and brought with it a variety of exciting new content. As well as that, we also got yet another competition!
That includes, as per usual, some awesome new cosmetics to spice up your multiplayer and MyTeam experience.
It also brings an exciting new feature to the game. This is Prestige, and adds another incentive for players to keep playing!
