A new update has landed in Real Racing 3, and it’s a big one.
Update 10.6 adds four new cars to tear up the track with, as well as new Limited Time Events in the final round of season one and graphical improvements for the popular mobile racer.
New cars
One of the new star cars in Real Racing 3 update 10.6 is the incredible Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. Marking the end of the current-generation AMG GT, the new Black Series boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 720 horsepower, making it AMG’s most powerful V8-powered supercar yet.
This combined with the car’s aggressive aero package enables the German sports car to sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds.
In Real Racing 3, it costs 750 Gold points but you can win the AMG GT Black Series in the five-day Track Day: Black Series event starting today.
Joining the AMG GT Black Series is the 2021 Audi R8, which can be earned for free by earning VP in Round 10.
Other cars included in update 10.6 are the ferocious Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport rewarded for completing the Track Day: 911 GT2 RS Clubsport event starting 2 September, and the classic Audi quattro B2, which can be earned in the Audi quattro B2 Limited Series starting 6 September.
The 2017 Acura NSX and Alfa Romeo 4C also return in new Limited Time Events, while the Aston Martin Valhalla concept, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, and Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8 feature in new Flashback events.
Graphics update
In addition to the new cars and Limited Time Events, developer Firemonkeys has given Real Racing 3 a graphical overhaul in update 10.6 as the game approaches its tenth anniversary next year.
Update 9.6 already improved the track textures, UI and lighting, but update 10.6 improves the car rendering to make Real Racing 3 one of the best-looking mobile racers.
Thanks to further light improvements, car models boast more realistic and accurate reflections. In response to community feedback, darker cars also blend with the environment more realistically than before and lighter cars no longer look washed out.
