Several cars have already been confirmed for the new sim racing challenger, but which tracks can you race them on? Here's everything we know about the Rennsport tracks!
Latest news - Beta 1.9.0 adds the Nordschleife
The Beta Update 1.9.0 has landed, with players all around the world now able to download and play the game. This is the first time the game has been opened to everyone instead of being limited to those with keys for the closed betas.
Along with opening the game up, Beta Update 1.9.0 also adds a new track to Rennsport. Along with the Nurburgring GP circuit, racers can now take on the Nordschleife 24 Hour track.
This, along with three additional cars, adds nicely to Rennsport's existing content.
Rennsport tracks
Rennsport features an assortment of real-world circuits to race on. While the full Rennsport track list is yet to be confirmed, here are the confirmed Rennsport tracks so far:
- 8ETA
- Daytona International Speedway
- Fuji Speedway
- Goodwood Hillclimb
- Hockenheimring
- Monza
- Nurburgring GP
- Nurburgring Nordschleife (24 hour)
- Road Atlanta
- Spa-Francorchamps
Having appeared in Assetto Corsa and iRacing, Germany’s Hockenheimring (home of the German Grand Prix until 2019) will be a familiar circuit for seasoned sim racers.
Being able to tackle the Goodwood Hillclimb in a sim racing game will be a novelty, however, as it was last seen in Gran Turismo 6 back in 2013.
Though it hasn't been officially announced, Spa-Francorchamps was shown in a trailer promoting the ESL R1 tournament along with the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
More Rennsport tracks will be announced in due course. Developer Competition Company plans to add Nurburgring, Red Bull Ring, and Monza but envisions the final game to have “hundreds of race tracks" in "three or four years."
Release date
As for the release date, Rennsport is now available to all with the open beta now accessible by all players. Now racers no longer have to rely on beta key drops in order to hit the track.
