It's been a while since Rocket League received some new content for us to enjoy, but that's set to change.
Thanks to the coming Super Bowl, NFL and Rocket League have teamed up.
Table of Contents
So, let's take a look at this week long event, and what's included for us, the players!
Gridiron
One of the biggest content arrivals is Gridiron, an LTM. It comes with some cool new rules, so let's see what this new mode is all about!
The Rocket League ball has been replaced with an American football, and the mode is 4v4. Touching the ball attaches it to the roof of your car.
This applies to all cars, as anyone that touches the ball will then become the carrier. The carrier can only single jump, as double jumping will drop the ball!
Goals are worth 3 points if the ball is passed in or loose, and 7 points if the ball is attached to a player. Like in standard modes, demos require Supersonic speed.
If you cross the line on the Arena wall, you'll fumble the ball, so stay in bounds!
Gridiron Event Challenges
The mode and these challenges are live from February 2 to February 8.
For completion of these challenges, players will receive the Gridiron Guru Player Title, NFL Wheels and a whopping 20,000 XP!
So, make sure to get ready for Tuesday so you can get ahead of the game on these challenges.
NFL Fan Pack
If you're also a massive NFL fan, then the Item shop is one for you between February 2 and February 8.
There will be Octane Decals for all 32 teams NFL teams, and for just 800 credits, it seems like a stela to us.
If you're looking to jump in to Gridiron and represent your team, then this is the perfect way to do it!
