There are game modes for every type of racing fan, with single-player and multiplayer modes that will entertain players in a variety of ways.
While players might come for the main story, these game modes aim to ensure they stay long after their adventure in the dystopian world of Screamer is complete.
All Screamer Game Modes Explained

Screamer has a total of six game modes, not counting the main story: Team Races, Overdrive Challenge, Score Challenge, Time Attack, Mixtape, Checkpoint, Race, and Split-screen. All of them offer you a unique way of playing the game, with options for both casuals and competitive racers.
Team Races allows you to choose two other characters in the game to form a team and battler agaisnt other squads. The winners will be decided based on race positions and the number of KOs.
Overdrive Challenge forces players to bring their A-game, as the car's performance is significantly boosted, making it harder to handle. A crash ends the race for players, making this one of Screamer's most exciting modes.
In Score Challenge, the goal is pretty simple: earn as many points as possible by "performing specific actions" throughout multiple races to sit at the top of the leaderboard.
Time Attack will have you racing in three high-intensity laps. Checkpoint mode, as the name indicates, forces you to pass through certain checkpoints while the clock is ticking. As for Race mode, it allows you to customize races as you see fit, allowing for the creation of unique challenges.
Ranked Team Races are the competitive variation of Team Races, where you will assemble a squad with your friends and compete against other players. The rules are the same; the only thing that changes is that you have real teammates instead of CPU ones.
Mixtape provides a rotating list of Races and Team Races you can play online, and last but not least, split-screen lets you play with up to four players in an offline setting.
This is everything you need to know about the Screamer game modes. If additional information is revealed about the modes, we will make sure to update this article.
