Finding reliable opponents to race against can be a nightmare for sim racers, which is why an organization like Simracing.GP is so important to our thriving community of at-home racers.
Their Drive2Win summer is encouraging drivers of all pace levels to get involved. With 100 drivers winning prizes simply by racing, not just by being lightning fast, Simracing.GP is giving back to the community this summer.
Iconic Imola
This weekend's big event is a double points bonanza of an Imola 2.4-hour race on Assetto Corsa Competizione. That's like a 24-hour race, only considerably shorter!
This race can be run by either two-driver crews or solo. With three mandatory pitstops there is a level playing field for those doing driver swaps.
The weather will also be set to warm and dry, so there is no need to worry about wet setups or which button your wipers are mapped to.
If you haven't registered yet there is still time, simply click here and you can sign up.
As a double points event this is the perfect moment to jump into Drive2Win, as there is still plenty of time to rack up the points and win prizes.
"Drive2Win is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of the passion and dedication within the sim racing community,” said Tomas Vaiciunas, Managing Director of Simracing.GP.
“We're excited to offer an inclusive platform where every driver has the opportunity to be rewarded, not just the fastest. Our goal is to create a vibrant and engaging environment that encourages participation and community spirit."
At the end of Drive2Win, the top 100 highest-scoring drivers will receive a global gift card from GoGift. This can either be converted into gift cards for thousands of global retailers such as Amazon, Steam, Mcdonald's, Spotify, and Target, or transferred to a pre-paid card that can be used anywhere.
