SnowRunner keeps getting better and better. Recent expansions for Saber Interactive's incredibly popular snow-driving simulator have added new vehicles, locations and game modes including a racing mode. After Season 8 had you on farming duty, SnowRunner Season 9 Renew & Rebuild is out now.
From new maps and vehicles to the Year 3 Pass, here's everything you need to know about SnowRunner Season 9.
Location
Whereas Season 8 was all about farming, SnowRunner Season 9 sees you take on the role of a firefighter restoring a location ravaged by a devastating wildfire.
Set in a brand-new new region in Ontario, Canada, SnowRunner Season 9 introduces two new 4km² maps with “early autumn moods and a melancholic feel.”
As you explore the desolate landscape, you’ll discover burnt forest and buildings, flooded farmland, water towers and disaster relief tents.
New vehicles
Two new rugged trucks will help you restore the region back to its former glory.
With substantial torque and durability, the Derry Special 15C-177 is a dedicated Heavy-class vehicle designed for carrying water. Joining it is the ZiKZ 566A, an Off-Road-class truck that can be upgraded with a variety of add-ons.
