Ubisoft's open-world arcade racer has really established itself as a competitor for Forza Horizon 5. To beat the best though, both online and offline, you'll need to ensure that you have the best controller settings.
The Crew Motorfest is available on a few different systems, but you still need to get the most out of your cars to become top dog. Here are our recommendations of controller settings in The Crew Motorfest.
The Crew Motorfest Best Controller Settings
The Crew Motorfest is available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X | S and Windows PC. If you're racing with a wheel, make sure you check out to see if your racing wheels and pedals are compatible with the game.
We're going to be focusing on the controller pads though, as this is the device that most casual racing gamers use to play The Crew Motorfest.
Eliminating input lag is the main aim of these controller settings, and we've found the configuration that all but eliminates this issue.
Best Controller Settings
To change your controller settings, you'll first need to locate where it's possible to do this within the game. When you're racing around the game's map, go into the pause menu.
It's always good to ensure that if you're struggling to control the car that you have the right driving aids enabled. These are things such as Traction Control and ABS, so have a play around with these if you haven't already.
A lot of the difficulty settings are down to personal preference, but something we strongly recommend is having the Counter Steering Assist on for drifting and off when you're doing anything else.
Your FPS X and Y axes sensitivity should both be at the default of 50. The vibration is probably ideal around 20, with the adaptive triggers down at 5. You can turn these up, but more vigorous vibrations can be distracting.
The crucial part to these controller settings though, is the steering, which needs to be down at 0 for Linearity, Deadzone and Highest. This is what will get rid of the steering lag, but don't be afraid to turn these up a little if you're struggling.
Lastly, your brake settings should also have a deadzone of 0, but the highest needs to be turned up to 100 with the linearity at the default of 50.
These settings work great no matter which system you're playing The Crew Motorfest on.
