With less than a month to go until the launch of The Crew Motorfest, the game’s developer has shared some big news. In a post from 16 August, developers Ivory Tower have confirmed The Crew Motorfest is on schedule ready for release.
The Crew Motorfest goes gold
In the post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ivory Tower announced that The Crew Motorfest has officially ‘gone gold’. Going gold in the gaming industry is when a game is declared ready for publishing.
This is big news for The Crew Motorfest, with the game now being submitted to digital stores and disc manufacturers for release next month. This should also mean the game won’t run into any significant issues during launch, unlike Forza Horizon 5 back in 2021.
With The Crew Motorfest now ready to launch, we can’t wait to get our hands on the game and hit the streets of Oahu. The Crew Motorfest will launch on 14 September on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can start their road trip a few days early on 11 September.
The Crew Motorfest open-world preview
Ubisoft recently invited us to a preview session to explore the open world of The Crew Motorfest. From hurtling around the streets of Oahu to exploring the beautiful Hawaiian island from both air and sea, The Crew Motorfest is shaping up to be a stunning game.
We were able to try out four of the available playlists in the game. Celebrating the history of one of the most famous car brands, the 911 Legacy playlist showcases the very best Porsche has to offer. With Porsche celebrating their 75th anniversary this year, this is the perfect way to mark the occasion.
The Hawaii Scenic Tour on the other hand offers a much different experience. Taking in the sights and sounds of Hawaii, this playlist sees local guide Keola teach you about Hawaiian culture as you drift through the jungle and charge across sandy beaches.
