The Crew Motorfest preload times and file size
On X (formerly known as Twitter), Ubisoft has revealed The Crew Motorfest preload times for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Preloading the game allows you to download and install the game to your console or PC’s hard drive to save time and start exploring the beautiful island of O'hau as soon as possible.
Ubisoft hasn't confirmed The Crew Motorfest's file size yet. However, the beta weighed in at around 33–35GB depending on the platform.
Xbox
Those who have pre-ordered The Crew Motorfest on Xbox can already start preloading the game. This applies to every edition including the Standard, Gold, and Ultimate editions.
PlayStation
PlayStation players can begin preloading the Gold and Ultimate editions on 9 September 9th at 8 am UCT / 9 am BST. The Standard Edition can be preloaded from 12 September at midnight in each region.
PC
PC players can preload the Gold and Ultimate edition from 9 September 8 am UCT / 9 am BST via the Ubisoft Connect app. After that, the Standard Edition can be preloaded from 12 September at midnight in each region. Whether you buy The Crew Motorfest on Steam or the Epic Games Store, the PC version requires a connection Ubisoft Connect.
Editions and price
The Crew Motorfest has three editions: Standard, Gold, and Ultimate. The Standard Edition includes the base game plus a Liberty Walk Pack pre-order bonus. This version costs £69.99/$69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and £59.99/$59.99 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Retailing for £84.99/$99.99, the Gold Edition gives you three days of early access starting 11 September. It also gives you access to the Year 1 Pass, which adds 25 cars over the next year starting with three at launch and two every month.
In addition to the contents in the Standard and Gold Editions, the Ultimate Edition includes the Fitted Ultimate, Fitted Rainbow, and Fitted Jungle Pack containing extra cars, avatar outfits, and vanities.
The Standard Edition launches on 14 September. Unusually, Ubisoft is offering a free five-hour trial from 14 – 17 September to entice players who haven’t pre-ordered. This means you can play The Crew Motorfest for free on release day, albeit for a limited time.
