Ubisoft+ coming to PlayStation, includes The Crew 2, Trackmania Turbo, & more

Yesterday, Sony revealed some of the games coming to the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Plus subscription tiers next month. For racing game fans, these include Destruction AllStars, WipEout Omega Collection, and Jak X Combat Racing.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will also get access to Ubisoft+ Classics, a new subscription service giving players access to some of Ubisoft’s most popular games.

Ubisoft+ coming to PlayStation

Currently available for PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna, the full Ubisoft+ subscription service is coming to PlayStation “in the future,” providing access to over 100 games from popular franchises.

Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but the PC subscription service costs £12.99 a month for single access and £14.99 a month for multi access.

In the meantime, a cutdown version called Ubisoft+ Classics is launching on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium with “a curated selection of popular games.”

“With Ubisoft+ Classics, we’re providing PlayStation players with another way to enjoy Ubisoft games on their consoles,” said Chris Early, Ubisoft’s senior vice president of partnerships. “This is just the beginning, as we will ultimately make Ubisoft+ available to PlayStation owners as we continue to build our vision and provide players with more options to access their favorite games, wherever they are.”

Which racing games does Ubisoft+ Classics include?

Launching on 24 May, Ubisoft+ Classics will initially include 27 titles from popular franchises such as Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, and The Division. This will grow to 50 by the end of 2022.

Out of the 27 Ubisoft+ Classics games included at launch, there are six driving and racing games:

  • The Crew
  • The Crew 2
  • Trackmania Turbo
  • Trials Fusion
  • Trials of the Blood Dragon Game
  • Trials Rising

Ubisoft Classics+ will launch with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on 24 May in Asia, 2 June in Japan, 13 June in North andSouth America, and 23 June in Europe.

In the UK, PlayStation Plus Extra will cost £10.99 per month or £83.99 a year. A Premium subscription will cost £13.49 a month or £99.99 annually.
