Released in 2018, The Crew 2 is an open-world racing game with a massive map covering the entire United States of America to explore, but when is The Crew 3 coming out?
After years of waiting for a sequel, Ubisoft Ivory Tower has finally revealed when the next instalment of The Crew will be.
There is a bit of a twist though...
When is The Crew 3 coming out?
The Crew 3 will be called The Crew Motorfest and thanks to Ubisoft's latest Forward Showcase, we now have a definitive release date.
The Crew Motorfest will be launched on 14th September 2023. This is a worldwide launch date and the same no matter which system you're playing on.
Those that pre-order the Gold and Ultimate Editions of The Crew Motorfest will also gain three days of early access from 11th September.
This will pit The Crew Motorfest against the long-delayed Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, which is currently slated for a 2023 release as well as Forza Motorsport which has slipped into the second half of 2023.
While that might be tough for Ubisoft's initial sales, it creates a mouth-watering time for racing fans!
Welcome to The Crew Motorfest!
The long-awaited sequel will be called The Crew Motorfest and looks set to take the franchise in a new direction.
The teaser trailer showed off the game's new location, O'ahu island in Hawaii! This new setting will give players a huge range of landscapes to go racing around in a huge variety of vehicles.
