This week's photo challenge location
Guanajuato is a bit of a maze. You might need to hunt around a bit to spot the giant tree! It's outside the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato. That's the large yellow church type building near the centre of the city. Here's exactly where it is on the map:
Interestingly, the Basilica is a building in the real life Guanajuato. It's described as "sober Mexican Baroque in style but there are popular elements from donations made by the area's miners, and other elements that demonstrate the influence of several of the city's rich mining nobility" which ties it in with the tunnels and the rest of the architecture in the area.
Which car do we need?
This week it's straightforward. We need the 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type-A. Apparently this generation of RX-7 included the first-ever mass-produced sequential twin-turbocharger to be exported from Japan. This strikes me as a very specific accolade! The Spirit R Type-A has 276 bhp in its stock configuration. Many of these twin-rotor twin-turbo sports cars see modification to produce extra power.
That's all you need to do for this week's photo challenge. Do share your best shots, whether it's on our Discord or your own social media!
