The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been hosting IndyCar races since the 1980s. Aside from a three-year break between 2004 and 06, it's been on the calendar every season since 1983.
The curves of the Mid-Ohio circuit test the IndyCars and their drivers to the limit. The Indy NXT series will also be in action this weekend in Lexington.
When it comes to the most successful IndyCar drivers in Mid-Ohio, there are a few familiar names that crop up.
Scott Dixon is the undisputed champion in Mid-Ohio, winning on a record six occasions. Next up is the great Emerson Fittipaldi, who won three times around here.
Other multiple winners include Michael Andretti, Al Unser Jr., Helio Catroneves, Alex Zanardi and Josef Newgarden all with two wins each.

Australian IndyCar fans never have it easy and this weekend is another tough one. Depending on how you look at it, these sessions are either very late at night or early in the morning.
The race, for example, starts at 3:30 am on Monday morning for those on the East Coast. Viewers on the West Coast have it even harder - it's a 3 am start for them.
